They obviously all need more time in college (for those contemplating the NBA), time together and time in the system to be a good team.
Napier may not be as good as he was early in the season, but he is not nearly as bad as he has been the past 5 games. He has been forcing it the past few games, pretty obviously since Boatright became a starter. I think that killed his confidence which was already low.
Boatright still does not know the half court sets. For anyone lauding him, watch the past two games again, he gets most of his points and assists in the full court or by freelancing. I don't fault him for this because it works, but it doesn't help Lamb or Napier. It does help Boatright score and it help the bigs.
All the bigs need to go to learn to rebound, boxout and screen.
Lamb needs to be at the 2 not the 3. This 3 guard lineup is not the answer for extended periods because there are only 3 guards. If there were two more (even Beverly and Austrie) then maybe it would work, but there aren't. Next year at least Calhoun comes in, if everyone stays, that will give them 4 guards.
The SF's need to be aggressive and attack. Daniels, Giffey, and Roscoe all settle (or are even more passive and just pass). Honestly, Giffey and Roscoe are better than at the beginning of the year, but neither have shown that much. Daniels shows potential but his shot is in a worse funk than Lamb or Napier.
