They obviously all need more time in college (for those contemplating the NBA), time together and time in the system to be a good team.

Napier may not be as good as he was early in the season, but he is not nearly as bad as he has been the past 5 games. He has been forcing it the past few games, pretty obviously since Boatright became a starter. I think that killed his confidence which was already low.

Boatright still does not know the half court sets. For anyone lauding him, watch the past two games again, he gets most of his points and assists in the full court or by freelancing. I don't fault him for this because it works, but it doesn't help Lamb or Napier. It does help Boatright score and it help the bigs.

All the bigs need to go to learn to rebound, boxout and screen.

Lamb needs to be at the 2 not the 3. This 3 guard lineup is not the answer for extended periods because there are only 3 guards. If there were two more (even Beverly and Austrie) then maybe it would work, but there aren't. Next year at least Calhoun comes in, if everyone stays, that will give them 4 guards.

The SF's need to be aggressive and attack. Daniels, Giffey, and Roscoe all settle (or are even more passive and just pass). Honestly, Giffey and Roscoe are better than at the beginning of the year, but neither have shown that much. Daniels shows potential but his shot is in a worse funk than Lamb or Napier.

I agree with all of this, and was thinking this earlier myself. Last night was awful, but I still haven't given up on this year. That being said, our two "lottery picks" have probably seen their stock fall significantly with their play as of late.

If we were able to bring back this whole team, plus add in Omar Calhoun.... well, we'd probably be as good as we expected to be this year. Let's just hope they let us into the NCAA Tournament.

If the whole team comes back, what would Omar think of that?

He's a 2, right?

If Lamb returns, Omar would have to be very good to see more than a few minutes a game, and, if I were him, I'd consider another school.

I don't think he would even if he could. He's not a one and done player and there would still only be 3 other guards on the team.

There should be a few interesting 'career chats' with the lads come April.

Lamb's gone. I was thinking that he might come back since his draft stock has to be plummeting, but I think that explains why he doesnt seem to care. He was extremely close to leaving last year. Hes already got a title. This season has been miserable. I dont see why he would come back. Hes still a lock to be a first round pick. Of all the underachievments, I have to say Im most shocked by Lamb these past few games. I expect Alex, Bazz, Andre to stink up the joint every now and then (or just all the time now), but Lamb's game has been puzzling.

How is Lamb realisticly in position for the draft when he can't wipe his own out there. Things have changed.

We've still got 10-20 games left this season, so let's wait and see how the kids develop before judging how ready they are for the NBA. As of right now, it does not look like anybody on this team is remotely close to being ready for the NBA. Would Lamb and Drummond be high picks? Probably, at least Drummond. Lamb's stock seems to be falling but I still expect him to go in the first round would he be to declare this season. His body language has looked at times like a kid who doesn't really want to be in college. I'd expect him to declare if he can go in the first round.
