Generally, that's true. Pretty often, your success in the regular season is going to be inverse of your pre-season record. The 1-15 Cowboys team in 1989 was 3-1 in preseason. Good teams rarely, if ever, prioritize winning in preseason.it is preseason, the 0-16 Lions went 4-0 in preseason.
Jerry and Newhouse are huge question marks and Reese has done an absurdly horrible job on the obtaining any depth at basically every position.
I think they will be okay this year, but who knows
Although I don't think the corollary is true. If your team is bad in preseason, there's hardly any magic that says they'll be good in the regular season.
