I teach in western mass on the border of conn, so it's understandable we have many girls who are uconn fans. This is the first time in several years I've had a couple kids wearing their uconn gear on "support your team" day running up to me saying, "Mr. Emery ... I watched the game last night and my dad said he'd take me to a game this year (usually with the qualification that grades are maintained or improved. Of course he's gonna get the benefit of the doubt).
