Don't know what to think anymore.

Is it about football? sometimes (WVU)
Is it about TV markets? sometimes (RU)
Is it about academics? maybe for the B10, but cable boxes more important
Is it about overall championships and national brand? nope
Is it about geography? when considering "other options" the schools may have, this moves to the head of the class (IMHO)

It's about keeping the people you have to deal with every day happy. Most of those people live closer to Louisville than CT and we failed to make the case they would be happier with us. Everything else is just BS.
