OT: I give up

Nan, who is your new avatar? Your previous one was.... creepy. You should let the faithful know when you change your avatar.
My previous avatar was Princess Fiona from the movie Shrek. She became my avatar the day before the February South Carolina game. After the Huskies won, I deemed her a good luck charm and left her where she was through the tourney. I’m not saying Fiona is the reason UConn won, but you gotta wonder.

My current avatar is Margaret Wright. She has a Connecticut connection

I love how you do this. It's very informative and reminds us of important facts. I also greatly appreciate the now disclosed fact that you are highly sports superstitious. Fiona is 1 for 1. Might I suggest Virginia Hall somewhere down the line. The book is "A Woman of No Importance".

You mean you haven't seen Shrek? Creepy? Well yeah, I guess ogres are creepy by nature.... I'm thinking she reasonably assumed that everyone would recognize Fiona....

Yes, I seen Shrek and now I know why the creepy avatar looked familiar.

Next time I make a paper bag mask I'll know who to thank. Impressive lady.

I love hickory smoked bacon.
Me too, but I meant Frances Perkins, not Bacon. She was the first female cabinet member as Sec Labor for FDR. She was behind a lot of the New Deal.

Got it. It seemed like a random reference.

GREAT AVATAR ! !

I was going to ask before I saw this thread who had Nan chosen this gorgeous avatar of hers’?

To me , this avatar represents :

DIGNITY KIND- HEARTED PLEASANT-TO-LOOK-AT-FACE

Please, Nan, I do hope you keep this avatar for a long long time ! !
