I don't understand

why wasn't a foul called on the Florida State player who brought her arm down on the rebound that was reviewed? It was the impetus of her arm coming down on Natalie's arm that forced the ball out of bounds. I never heard anyone say that should have been a foul on Florida State. I was at Disney for the first half and was shocked by the number of UConn players that were in foul trouble when I tuned into the second half. Wasn't the game called consistently?

I dont think that can be reviewed. they can only rule on who it touched last.

Very good point. I think that such a foul easily could have been called, especially given how whistle-happy the refs were for much of the game - just ask Ms. Dangerfield!

Given that they "missed" that call, I think they also got the out of bounds call wrong when they attributed it to Butler instead of the FSU player, and for pretty much the same reason you stated above. Unfortunately there was not enough clear and convincing evidence on the replay as to whose hand the ball came off of last to overturn the call.
