Don't care that Nova sucks and played without their best player, don't care how they looked in getting the win, down 18 in the 1st half, they gutted out a win when they could've easily folded. This team needs wins to feel good about themselves.
 
Exactly. Have no patience for the "fool's gold" types. We needed a win and got one. That's it.
 
I said to my girl that I wasn't really going to feel great after this game, even if they won.

I was wrong.

Well said ace. Right now I don't even care that they missed 900 free throws.
 
This is why we are fans. Even in a down year, you can get great games.

Also, Lamb had a killer game. Good for him.

This. And then some.
 
The guts was what I liked at the end. Yes, the missed FTs were horrible, but we never gave up on the game. Also, for stretches, our defense started to look a little more like it did near the start of the season.

Road win. In the BE. It was must win and we did.
 
I agree 100% ... this team needed that. I saw all of the negative comments earlier and just didn't feel like bothering .. And now i and I'm sure everyone else is glad I didn't. Seeing those smiles and some of those heavy shoulders starting to rise up with pride was refreshing. This was much needed and Napier put his $$ where is mouth is.

Exactly how I feel. They needed a win but a loss and this season is most likely over.
 
I am deliriously happy. My throat hurts from screaming at the TV. My neighbors know they won. It is more about redemption for the boys and the camaraderie between them that makes me so satisfied. Of course, Shabazz's shot, Lamb's season high, and Roscoe's play are all fantastic! Whaa-hoo!
 
A win is a win. Now, they need to build on this.

They need to pick up the rebounding and fast. No excuse for getting killed on the board to Nova.
 
All I know is i won't be able to sleep tonight, a win like that over a week Nova team is not anything to write home about but damn it feels good.

Once I wind down, I'll be sleeping like a baby. I went to game on Saturday...ugh...that's when I'm a restless crab and can't sleep. Wins make everything....right in the world! :)

Nova almost took out ND Saturday and Marq twice. Almost won at Cinci

no different than almost beating us

Just so you know, I'm sick of seeing the kid punch the cat gif. Something really messed up about that. Maybe time for a change?
