Outside of the worst of rush hour, driving from Storrs to Philly should take around 4 1/2 hours. During the holidays, once can sit on the runway longer than that at Philadelphia airport on a good day. Take the bus. Train would be better; but, the football team brings a lot of equipment and there is not much room on Acela for such. A regional Amtrak train is about as fast as the bus.
