I think the worst moment in UConn uniform history has to be when we had the spiffy “hyper flight” uniforms vs Cuse in I think 08 when they had “neon red” trim and handed out “neon red” tees to students. I have a newsflash. Neon red is orange.

The current uniforms aren’t bad. I would only change the C-O-N-N across the chest to have no red. The classic U with red trim looked better. I miss the CONNECTICUT across the chest on away uniforms too.

Absolutely love those jerseys “uconn 13”. I wonder if I can get some old Uconn jerseys on eBay I lost all mine or they’re all faded out. All I got left is a Marcus Williams one and a kemba one. I heard you can only get rip or Ray now - no one else - that’s crazy. Is that true?

I used to have every blessed UCONN jersey that was produced and sold commercially, it was a hobby for me to collect them back in the early 90's when they started offering them publicly, whether they were Nike or Speedline, I had it.

Over the years, I sold them off one by one, as my health became compromised with a multiple sclerosis diagnosis, forcing me into early retirement/disability. I still have a few left that never garnered any interest while attempting to sell, among these are my 2 #13 authentic home and road jerseys that I posted pictures of earlier. Not sure where you could find jerseys these days, besides on EBAY. The jerseys that are produced these days are pure junk, compared to what used to be sold.

Good luck in your search. I believe besides the 2 #13 team issued jerseys, what remains is a Kemba, Shabazz, Caron, Rip and Denham in my closet, and only the Denham was never worn and still has it's retail tags attached to it. I'll try and verify what remains if you'd like, in case I do indeed have something that you might be looking for.

The best part is no one was expecting us to beat them at that point in time. We surprised them and looked good doing it.

Women rocking gray uniforms with Huskies on them tonight. I’m not if they wear these often but I think it’s the first I’ve seen a team with HUSKIES on the uniforms and not UCONN. Not sure I’ve even seen any mercy with just HUSKIES on them. Not sure I feel about it.

I could not care less about what kind of uniform the women wear, or if they win or lose for that matter. I thought this was a men's basketball forum.

Don't mind me, games like last night put me in a crappy mood for days. The only fix I have is to watch games from the glory years. My two favorites are 1999 Big East final, first 5 minutes were a clinic and the other is 2014 elite vs Mich St. First 10 minutes of the 2nd half was the best defense in our history - and that is saying alot. I feel better already.
