Huskies to Honor Seniors, Rebecca Lobo Saturday

Unfortunately, Lou has never played in a national championship game. It is my sincere hope that particular hole in her resume is corrected this year.
Was she injured her freshman year?

Was she injured her freshman year?
Unfortunately, she broke a bone in her foot in the 1st quarter of the semi-final and played the 1st half with it, and talked to a trainer at half time, came out in a boot for second half and for the NC.

I am pretty sure Lous mom has been to Gampel, I think it was her freshman year.
I thought so, but wasn't sure since the broadcasters made such a big deal of her not going to games during NCAA Tournaments the last few years, something about nerves and taking care of the dog, etc. Only Dad made the cross country travels to all the games.

Lou and Geno after it was determined Lou would not play in the 2nd half of the semi-final game.

that was a sad moment... it was clear to see how disappointed Lou was that she couldn't play any more that game and the NC. :(:(:(

I would agree with you, but you may have opened up a can of worms, particularly from those BY’ers that will argue that the 2001-02 team was the best of all time.
I was more asking than advocating, 'dude, but I'm always eager to read the opinions of UConn women's basketball aficionados, especially yours.

Can they not figure out how to take the black things off? How embarrassing.

I thought she was an Oregon fan

I think Kobe more than his daughter (who I think is a Lou fan) appreciates UConn as a program. To be consistently great and to play with such intensity regardless of the score must clearly appeal to him.

Kobe and her daughter are HUGE UConn WBB fans. He was at the Final Four last year.
