Sneakers have come a long way! I for the life of me can't remember what kind of sneakers I wore as a kid in the 50s or even in high school in the 60s. There weren't a lot of choices. Keds and Converse is all I remember, with limited style selections.

My memory is that true athletic shoes by Adidas, Nike, Puma, et.al. came along in the 70s, and they had little in common with the sneakers they replaced.

Some great looking kicks those women are wearing. Most be nice to have a closet full of them.
