What's even more unique in this situation is Trevecca will be the first non-Division I school to play UConn in a counting game since the 1986-1987 season. Trevecca and UConn meet on November 6th.

If we played a game against a D-II program that counted on our record I can hear the nationwide screaming that would result. The Nashville article should have made it clear that the game counts on their record, not ours.

Because I was a curious camper, I wanted to see which non-D1 program they played in 1986-1987. Guess which team is missing from that yearbook...
