I have set up a donation for the Red Cross for Hurricane Sandy relief efforts.

I know a number of you contributed to the Jim Calhoun gift - please give for a greater cause.

Think of the people displaced and affected by this storm and consider ourselves lucky that scenes like the one from Breezy Point did not happen here in Connecticut.

Also, depending on what employer you work for, they may very well be willing to match your donations up to 100%. Worth checking to try to get some of your employers charity money pointed this way, if you feel truly connected to this cause.
