Any idea why two of my neighbors parked their cars sideways in their driveway prior to hurricane, perpendicular to the driveway? I did not have the opportunity to ask them.
We move our road enclosed work trailer and our conversion van with raised roof in tandem in front of our house to block the front of the house and only one side of the vehicles are exposed to flying debris. When we left them in the driveway they both got damaged on both sides and the front doors to the house were blown in.

I always felt that if the Rays were to remain in the area the best location would be ~15 miles east of Tampa, close to I-4 where it would be reasonably accessible to Orlando area residents as well as being accessible to Tampa/St Pete residents.

I'm curious as to why there have never been any rumors on something like that.
I thought that some were pushing for ballpark closer to Lakeland since getting to St. Petersburg is problematic for Orlando and other Central Florida residents.
