Hurley probably could have kept Diggins if he played him slightly more and told him he was the starting PG this year, but it doesn’t seem like Hurley did that, so Diggins, in his best interests, is leaving. I doubt Hurley promised Floyd a starting spot or major minutes so he left as well as now he will have not played major basketball game minutes for 2 years in a row.
