Tryptophan in turkey is a myth. That said, I'm all for making the team think they are better prepared by not eating turkey. Especially since even the best turkey is pretty meh without all the gravy, sauces and sides.

Can Mrs. Hurley prepare one of those those multi-legged turkeys like Madden used to have for his turkey leg awards or whatever they were called?

Tryptophan or not, turkey sucks. Stuff and eat a chicken…

Just make sure the Turkey(s) are properly cooked so no one gets sick...

A properly cooked turkey should be roasted at 325°F or 350°F until its internal temperature reaches 165°F in the thickest part of the thigh and breast. For a whole turkey, cooking time varies by weight; a general guideline for an unstuffed turkey is about 13-15 minutes per pound at 350°F, but it's essential to rely on a meat thermometer for doneness, not just the clock.

Take the bird out at 155 when the breast reaches that temp, as it continues to cook after being removed. Going to 165 and then removing is dry turkey. If you need to you can spot cook the thighs and legs after cutting.
