And if we're not he'll have a job at a high profile P5 school that has much deeper pockets than we do.
UConn isn’t really a stepping stone program. We’ll pay him but he’s in line with the Baylor coach salary and others. It’s just Kansas Kentucky Duke and a few others paying obscene money. But that doesn’t seem like his style. Who knows though.

Those are cute little shekels tossed his way for the last few weeks. He's going to be much richer soon.

You’re right, Wagner and URI are the stepping stones. UConn is the forever job. DH is outside the top 25/30 highest paid college hoops coaches. And he’s not leaving the Northeast. Andrea won’t let him. I don’t think that’s his style either though.

Geno will retire soon. Take Geno's $3 million per year, give it to Danny and pay the new women's coach $750k to $1 million per year (the average for top D1 Women's coaches). Problem solved.

What about the assistant coaches? Any incentives or upcoming pay bumps for them to make it a bit harder for them to jump to a head coaching job somewhere else?

I’ve been on the Hurley Bandwagon since day one. Glad everyone else is finally joining me. Better late than never I suppose.

We need to keep Luke Murray. I would assume Kimani will leave after the season but Luke needs to stay forever.

He's not going to leave for a university just because they have a little deeper pockets...that's not the way Dan rolls.

Give him a raise. Raise my taxes to do so. I don’t care.
Absolutely! The increase in your taxes is entirely worth it!

Lol, you called for his firing at the half of the Iona game.

I think Danny would like to be seen as a springboard for assistants though. Painful in the short term but good for keeping the program fresh. He'll be able to keep finding "right guys".

Omg. Par for the course, but what a clown
It’s all good. That “self hanging” fueled the mojo. We took off in the second half and never looked back the rest of the tournament.
