Isn’t it the same guy? The American Dream is Dusty Rhodes.

It was along the lines of Dusty Rhodes was Dusty Rhodes before Chris Farley was Chris Farley hence Farley looks like Rhodes/Dream rather than Dream looks like Farley. Once again the internet has failed nuance.

Also, there's a lot to sink in going on with the crowd facial expressions here.

It's a treasure trove.

Is that Bobby Mullen eyeballing Hurley after Mullen had been waiting for hours to snag the last break room donut and DH just casually walks in and snags it?

They are developing AI to replace everything. I guess refs is sports is as good a venture as the one where they are developing AI to replace many in the legal profession like paralegals and some lower level lawyers.
I’ve even heard AI is replacing some posters too….

I think in every sport there's something you could use AI for. Even in football something as simple as having AI control the spots, automate the play clock, and call offsides, it would let officials focus on other things
Wouldn't offsides essentially use the same technology as offsides in the premier league. Where is the player at the time of the hike?

Can he play the 5 though as a backup?
No, he used up his eligibility as a pitching machine.

Let's use AI to ruin sports and all forms of entertainment before it completely ruins us.
Mostly agree, but for whatever reason the notion of consistently called balls and strikes is appealing to me.

No normal basketball play draws blood.

Not sure how AI would work. A computer would probably call holding or PI on every down in the NFL and a foul on every possession in the NBA. Other than things like balls/strikes or in/out not sure computers could ever get the nuance of the game.

I'm in favor of AI refs for the sole benefit of getting to see some of the showboating, incompetent hacks that currently ref in the BE have to go get jobs digging ditches.

If it also improves the sport, that's a bonus!
