Hurley's sideline behavior is a direct reflection of how he sees his teams. If you watch our losses from last year, Hurley was never as animated as he was even at the beginning of yesterday's game.
This team has immense pressure to continue the success of the last two seasons. Fair or not, these guys are certainly comparing themselves to last year.
It's difficult to hear AK say "it's all on me, 100% on me" after a loss. This team is going to have to learn to grow through losses because they are not last year's squad and will lose more games.
I actually appreciate that Hurley cost us the game- I hope he uses it as an opportunity to stress to the team that mistakes, even by him, will happen and are chances to grow. This was a critical step in turning the page from last year.
