This thread could have gone in so many directions. Thankfully it’s just sage burning for now

About four hours before tip-off, Hurley was seen walking around with a lit sage throughout the court.

According to CBS Sports Network, this ritual isn’t new. Hurley started burning sage pregame back when he was coaching at the University of Rhode Island. At URI, he started putting sage in the left corner because they kept being beat in the left corner by buzzer beaters — and it worked.

It’s been a staple for Hurley ever since.

Is Dan Hurley’s pregame ritual a secret to the UConn men’s success?

As long as the similarities with that imbecile end there im good with Dan Hurley doing what he can for the mojo.

Let’s try some sage on the half court offensive playbook! Maybe have sage smoke areas where people should be setting screens for Polley and Hawkins?

The game losing haiku thread needs to be deleted and the original poster should never again be allowed to post anything like that

Stick it in Sanogo's locker with a tape of the great centers passing the ball out when defended by more than one player and how to look at the rim when you shoot the ball and using the backboard
