Bama was definitely the smallest which surprised me a little but they are a football school as evident from their embarrassing turnout.i can’t talk hopefully my voice returns by Monday what an incredible ride. My first FF . It’s not just a basketball game it’s an event . It was.louder than the last Cardinal playoff game I went to.
It will be most definitely be a home crowd for Purdue Monday for sure.
Its that UConn fans didn’t show up UConn , Bama , and NCS were all pretty even .Purdue hasn’t been in a championship game in close to 60 years
plus they already have a huge base out here.
We met up with some other UConn fans and were were loud and obnoxious
It will basically be an away game for UConn. Not good. Probably cost UConn a few points at least on the spread.
This makes me so angryI will tell you this much. Big donors bought their share of tickets and sold them on the secondary. Purdue, NC St all throughout UConn sections.
Give the tickets to real fans.
Those guys crack me up
PM me if you want any help finding flights for a reasonable price… just helped someone on twitter find a 1 way from BDL to PHX for $189 tonightDepending on what happens tonight I would consider the flight and staying Monday-Tuesday as it would be cheaper
UConn needs to sell their allotment regardless of who buys them. Remember the Fiesta Bowl kerfuffle? It's what kept us out of realignments since.I will tell you this much. Big donors bought their share of tickets and sold them on the secondary. Purdue, NC St all throughout UConn sections.

I am here as well and agree that it was so disappointing how many Purdue fans are in the UConn section. If you are a donor of that level, why would you need to sell your tickets for profit. How about selling to someone you know is a UConn fan or just don't buy them and let them be there for a lower level donor who wants to go and support the team. We had annoying Purdue fans right behind us.Agreed, what the hell was that crap? Embarrassing.
This is basketball though- not football. We can’t sell 15k at the rent….zero chance for fiesta bowl.UConn needs to sell their allotment regardless of who buys them. Remember the Fiesta Bowl kerfuffle? It's what kept us out of realignments since.
There's not much they can do to stop it. They can make you show up in Phoenix to pick up your tickets, but that's never going to happen in today's day and age. This is basketball though- not football. We can’t sell 15k at the rent….zero chance for fiesta bowl.
Final four though? Sad state of affairs for letting these big wigs buy up and sell. Purdue fans all over UConn section.
I know AD David Benedict is pretty much out the door at this point, so complaining won’t do much until a new AD is in place.
They can. Give folks a heads up that we will motor secondary sites and if your seats are listed you’ll have reduced access to seats in future years. There's not much they can do to stop it. Yeah, like they're really going to view it as a good idea to threaten significant donors. They can. Give folks a heads up that we will motor secondary sites and if your seats are listed you’ll have reduced access to seats in future years.
UConn gives you the option to sell tickets in the secondary market when you get them. It's very easy to do and not time consuming and I'm assuming UConn gets a cut of the transaction. It is much harder to sell your tickets specifically to other UConn fans unless you do it on the-boneyard.They can. Give folks a heads up that we will motor secondary sites and if your seats are listed you’ll have reduced access to seats in future years.
It's going to sound like this or louder. They drowned the N.C. State fans...Purdue is everywhere. Not a lot of UConn to be honest.
The issue was that too many balked at the price from UConn and chose secondary markets to get the tickets. This is basketball though- not football. We can’t sell 15k at the rent….zero chance for fiesta bowl.

Fairly good tacos, chimichangas, churros, etc Saturday at Salt Tacos y Tequila UConn event, plus UConn pep band and cheerleaders. Expect same today.Who is hitting the UConn pregame party at Salt today? +5
Have actually had opposite experience.Their fans have been nice and respectful- they are definitely living their best life here. I realize we have no chance whatsoever but there would be a river of tears here if we can pull off a W. Moved to section 227 so at least solidly in UConn county today. Doomed!!!
