Okay, let's pretend, for a moment, we have a time machine available to us a la Bill and Ted and we can snatch various UConn players from the past 20 years and bring them to the day before the 2020-2021 NBA season to make the 31st team. We would be taking these players at the end of the year specified in this screenshot.

How would these 12 fare in the first season together?
Let's pretend they stay together for 5 years, how do you think they would do?
How about after 10 years?

Would they win at least one championship in 10 years if they somehow stayed together?

Interesting to think about how this talent would compete vs the other 30 NBA teams. Maybe the would-be a perennial postseason team around the 3-6 seed, maybe better, after a few years together, who knows!

This is for players from the season-ending in 1999 until present day. Otherwise, Ray would be on this instead of CV but I think Ray added to that team would make things too easy, like the next 72 win GState, or at the least clearly a 1 seed IMO.

Hmm if you are going to do it, maybe to a poll position by position and then put the winners as starters and the runners up as bench? Might be fun over a week or two.

Charlie Villanueva should be on that list.

Uncle Cliffy needs to be on this team especially since these will get killed on the boards.

Kemba - Chris Smith
Ray - Gordon
Bulter - Rip
Cliff - Donyell
Drummond - Okafor
