just wondering if anyone knows when they drop the axe on Tarheel land? It's gotta affect the recruiting landscape for football too, no? Hope we find out something soon... Might be able to stake claim to some of their recruits who may want to open things back up and potentially commit elsewhere...

what the heck bro, just putting it out there... get some folks talking... UNC is in trouble, no? Or is this just another Penn State type situation... slap on the wrist and then take the penalties away after everybody has calmed down....

First, I have serious doubts about sanctions. The NCAA has been rendered impotent by the P5.

Second, how many of UNC's current commits were we even involved with?

UNC will not receive any penalties. However I'm sure someone at UConn called someone at UNC to ask for a recipe for cole slaw and now UConn will get the death penalty.

Nothing will happen to UNC. It will all get swept under the rug.

And the thing will happen at Syracuse.

It's laughable that Emmert is speaking as if the Wainstein report is new information to him. He's known all this for years already.

sounds like he's monitoring.

Scholarship and practice reductions and a worthless bowl ban for UNC.

Scholarship reductions and not much else for Cuse.

Most will be self imposed after the investigation is complete. Once Miami skated and the Penn State sanctions fell apart the NCAA has no power left over the P5. Reduced to a yipping dog.
