Gift link. Boom.

For the first time all season, there was a new, yet unsurprising, voice speaking up in UConn women's basketball's locker room at halftime.
Before Geno Auriemma could address his team, Sarah Strong, the National Player Year, spoke first. She called out the Huskies' poor offensive half and challenged them to be better. Strong, who said this was the first time she felt comfortable giving the halftime pep-talk, had shot just 1-of-5 in the first 10 minutes, yet, she was the only Husky to flip the switch in the second quarter, scoring 11 of her 21 total before halftime.

Good for Sarah. She has now asserted herself into the actual team leader that she should be NOW, she does it all. Leader in points, rebounds, steals, assists and now team leader for the team in taking charge and speaking out to better the team. Congratulations and finish this season on a high note. NO 13. GO SARAH!!!! GO HUSKIES!!!!!

Good for Sarah. I mean it carries more weight when it comes from players like Sarah or Azzi. But it is good that Sarah asserted herself and it worked greatly. The team now has to assert themselves a few more games. Get that killer instinct.

.-.
Sarah probably commands attention like EF Hutton: when Sarah speaks, people listen. (OMG, I'm old)
Another old commercial: Sarah ( and all the Huskies ) do it the old fashion way:
"THEY EARN IT"!
