Many people across the country spend half of their Saturday watching college football with little or no breaks in between. Most fans of college football don't go quite to that extreme, so the question is: How much college football do you watch on a typical college football Saturday?

Me - maybe 7 hrs or 2 games worth. I try to catch the score the following morning on the later games.

I watched some insane Pac-12 triple OT game last year maybe CU vs Oregon till around 3am. Sometimes too much but thankfully I use the ff button on a few DVR'd games.

When I was unemployed I watch every single game, including Pac after Dark. Now it's 2-4 games/week.

When UConn isn't at home I pretty much watch from noon until the last game ends. If the soccer team I coach plays at noon I start watching at 1:15.

Nothing better than MAC-TION in November. 2-3 games each Saturday. I watch a ton. Love it.

I used to have a table reserved at Ozzies Restaurant and Sports Bar in St Louis. Most Saturdays I'd show at 10:30 am (they opened at 11) and then close the place down. Got family now and am scheduled to work every Saturday, so I do a lot of DVR work. Its not so much quantity for me anymore but if William and Mary is playing East Toenail State, I'm watching if I have the time.

College Gameday at 9am all the way through to the Pac12 games at night. I usually go out to the bars and stuff Friday night and then spend Saturdays recovering eating junk food and being lazy

I watch UConn and UConn only because if the last few years have taught me anything it's that college football is evil and the big wigs in charge can suck my white a s s.
I only watch the Pats now too for pretty much the same reason, of course with different folks who can f off.

What's your research paper on? You ask way too many questions without having your own opinions.

No research paper, just satisfying my own curiosity.

Follow up question for those who responded: Do you have the same viewing habits for college basketball?

Me - No. If I don't get to see my team play in person, I try to find an internet feed. I don't have the same desire to watch other teams play, which was not the case for me 20 years ago.

Are you posting these questions on all school's forums? Why does an FSU fan all of a sudden become very curious what UConn fans think about various football topics?

These also seem like off season topics...not game day topics. UConn has a game tonight...and we are talking how much football we watch?

These remind of questions that your non-sports loving significant other asks you while you are trying to watch a game....lol.

Just seems odd...

Before my kids got to sports-playing age, I'd probably watch 2-3 games each Saturday.

Now? UConn, and probably part of one game in another time slot. Might be even less this year depending on the travel schedule for soccer.

It's obnoxious.

I watch the UConn game and then maybe one other game if it's particularly interesting or between top-ranked teams. Then I'll watch the Giants on Sunday, and I feel like 9 hours of football on a weekend is pretty good. I mean, , I have a lot of video games to play, too.

My habits are highly variable. If UConn wins, I'm suddenly interested in every game and when we lose, I often find something else to do and just check on the scores remotely. Generally I watch 1-3 games a week. I definitely dont spend my entire saturday watching games unless its rainy or cold. I probably watch more weeknight football than weekend football. My kids don't need to see me watching tv all day.

If I am home watching TV and a game is on, I watch it. No matter the level of play. Well, unless BCU is playing ND or Cuse, then I would go blind so I don't watch that.
