Sure their programs are historic, but Syracuse hasn't been relevant in years, and Pitt is a world reknown choke artist.

What it does is destroy any chance at the conference staying together. You think WVU wants to stay part of this? And they are our last credible member.

The litigation would be legendary if the BCS tried to yank someone's bid at this point. If the Big East leftovers and Big 12 leftovers merge with some MWC schools, that conference will keep the BCS bid.

Baylor, Kansas State, Iowa State, Louisville, Cincinnati, USF, Boise, BYU, TCU and maybe Houston would be a BCS conference. Book it.

It pretty much destroys the football side of things. Now that those two jumped, all bets are off. Nobody has any reason to be loyal. The conference won't have a BCS bid in the future because there won't be conference.

Told Pitt's ACC announcement floored everyone at OU, and that it was the dagger for those still working to keep the Big12 together.

If this tweet is accurate, it seems Pitt was in negotiations with the B12. By moving to the ACC instead of the B12, they also precipitated the Texahoma move. Next we'll find out they were behind the JFK assassination...

If Jake has inside info, which he should, that means Pitt was gone in any event. So, when did they join with Cuse or were they just going with whomever offered first?
