How many times have you rewatched the shot?

.-.
We watched Morning Joe's lead story on the shot at least 20 times. I think that segment showed it at least 3 times, so 60+.

Unless there is a game winner vs Illinois and/or Michigan or Arizona, that is the biggest shot in UConn history.

Kemba's shot had an amazing run of 5 years as THE SHOT before the Cincy three in 2016. RIP had 13 years after his 98 put back vs Washington, and TG before was the best for 8 years. But those are now 2-3-4-5. But all 5 shots are very very very close and all legendary.

Similar to going into stores in Lake Placid where the 1980 game is always on. That’s what it’s like in my barber shop now. My shop is like a UConn museum. The game is on repeat. It’s the greatest shot in UConn history and forever in March lore. Beating Duke to go to the final 4. Even though 99 and 04 happened, that was payback for 90. Payback as I was 14 years old heartbroken. Beating the overall #1 seed again and technically the #1 team in the country as well. Purely epic

I think I've exhausted ALL OF THE INTERNET posts of the shot, the reactions, the edits, the commentary. So 1,000's.

And not only was that the greatest shot in UConn history. That was absolutely the greatest shot in the history of college basketball. Keep in mind who had possession, the score, everything that needed to come together, the time, the teamwork, and THE SHOT! Greatest of all time!!!

If the endless buffet of Duke tears and sorrow is not enough for you, please venture over to the Syracuse forum to the thread titled “Anyone of sane mind rooting for Yukon today”. Complete suffering. Just don’t post anything from there over here or it’ll get erased. We are sooooo fortunate as a fan base

50+ times. I can’t say why but as soon as the ball left Mullins hands I was thinking perfect lift off the floor, perfect release, this ball is going to be all net. I know I’m writing this in retrospect but that was my thought when he released it. It was a perfect 40 foot jumper. Rotation of the ball was perfect. When I rewatched the game my thought was Demarys consecutive 3’s were so clutch.
