I know this is largely theoretical without seeing the bracket, but pick your favorite forecast and let us know who you expect to be there and why?

I should probably change my answer to 3 based on this reply because chances are the bracket changes things. But right now I'd say UConn, Nova, PC, and one of Seton Hall/Marquette depending on matchups

Uconn, Nova and one other

Can't pick PC until someone gives them a map. Hey, maybe they will, on the 25th anniversary of their last appearance in the second weekend

Taylor Swift can sing their eulogy. Their fan base is being pumped up for a huge let down.
Honestly as long as they aren’t in our bracket, I hope not. It’s great for league if the regular season champion wins a couple/few. I will root for them and nova to do damage until the damage would effect us.

Really hope they are in our bracket though

They try to avoid league matchups when possible until elite 8 especially top 4 seeded teams. If we are in the same bracket and meet then, we’ve both done our jobs and I’m ok. But I doubt we see nova or pc in our bracket.

Providence isn't losing in the first round. No 14 seed is going to blow them out and they aren't going to lose a close one.

Not going to identify who, but I said 2, though frankly I think it's more likely to be 1 than 3.

There are basically two tiers:

1) Teams That Can Make Some Noise:
Nova - 60%
PC - 50%
UConn - 40%

Looking at probably 3 seeds for Nova and PC and a 4/5 seed for us. We would not have a pushover in round 1 and then maybe a coin flip in round 2. The others would be favored (Nova decently, PC slightly).

2) Teams That Are There:
SHU - 20%
Marquette - 10%
Xavier - 5%
Creighton - 5%

This category will most likely be in the 7-10 seed range, meaning they'll have to beat a #1 or #2 to get to the second weekend. Very unlikely. Seton Hall maybe has the most upside here, but the others are finished.

Add all those percentages up and the expected value is close to 2.

Depending on matchup i think there’s a great chance PC loses first round as a 2 or 3
