Still a lot of basketball to be played, but who do you think will make the NCAA's from the BE?

At this point, I think the following are on the outside looking in:

DePaul
Providence
Villanova
St. John's
Pittsburgh

Of the remaining 11, assuming the league stays as bunched as it is, who gets left out? When all is said and done, I say South Florida and Rutgers. That leaves 9. Are we getting 9 this year?

LOL.... what makes us an NCAA team.. We have done absolutely nothing to deserve a bid at this point.

a10 could get 3 or 4
acc-3 solid +uva should be and ppl will sneak a 5th/6th in
be-10, i'll say pitt makes a crazy run or ruty/nd does something. 9 seems more likely but i'll take a wild guess. rest of the cb world is just as weak after the top teams in each conf.
b12-5 strong teams, OK is a buble team as #6
b10-8 bids
caa-3 bids. could get 2 could get 4.
cusa-3, ucf rides our L
ivy-1 but i wanted to say that harvard should be a top 6 seed in the ncaat
hor-could potentially be a 2 bid
mac-iona is a lock but ^ could happen
mv-2 bids, if drake makes a run then 3
mw-3 bids all day maybe 4
pac-they dont get any. give them 2 for shitssake
sec-7 bids
wc-3 bids
wac-2 bids

One thing is certain, of the 5 not making it in. We still have 4 left on our schedule. Got to take advantage!

if the tournament started today, we're an absolute stone cold lock

the selection committee loves the RPI. Based on that, the BEAST has 7 teams

1) Cuse
10) Marq
11) Gtown
17) WVU
18) UConn
21) S Hall
38) Louisville

USF is next at 77, ND 82

our SOS is 10

our record vs top 50 RPI is 3-1
wins over WVU, FSU & Harvard
loss to S Hall

amazing some of our teams fans don't think we're in the tournament

others think we don't have any quality wins

and still others think @ SH is a bad loss

sometimes I can only scratch my head

People may have a hard time believing this, but if the tournament ended today we would be in, 100%.

What's worrisome, of course, is that we're just about to hit the toughest 10 game stretch on our schedule and we're playing awful basketball.

But the bottom line is this is going to be another year with an extremely soft bubble. Last year, there were 5 teams that got at-large bids with 19 wins. There's no guarantee that 19 would get us in, but I have to think 20 definitely will.

3 of the next 4 are brutal, with the 4th being a home game vs SH (no gimme)

2-2 would be nice
1-3 bad
0-4 would be downright ugly and the season has gone south

I'm thinking we steal at least one on the road and go no worse than 2-2

Let's hope because there is very little we can lean on to suggest that this team can go out and win a tough game. And yes, this team is in right now. But the schedule becomes much tougher during February and March and this team is not getting better. So what suggests that they can go over .500 against the rest of the schedule when they've gone 2-5 against the last 7? Before we suggest last year - that team was proven, this team hasn't shown anything. What happens of this te drops under .500 in league play? It usually requires a very compelling argument to get a sub 500 team in league play into the Ncaa's. I'm not sure this team has one.

This talk reminds me of last year. Is it mojo or panic?
