How is the game ball brand chosen?

Is it a mutual choice? Home team? Conference? The Wilson ball is like playing with my spare tire. I prefer the Nike ball because it keeps me consistently shooting over 20% from the field…and foul line. 😆

I have no specific info, but I'm sure the regular season is whoever the home team has contracted with. There may be conferences that have a contract across all teams, that wouldn't necessarily surprise me. But game balls are not "other" from the regular balls the team uses and has on their ball carts.
