When a parent or parents see a game where their son or daughter is playing against each other for opposite teams, do they outwardly cheer for the plays their son or daughter made, but don't cheer for either team?

What is it like for the parent(s) as spectator(s)?

Anyone here ever in that situation or do you know anyone who has been?

In 2011 when UConn played Fairfield, I remember seeing Olander' mom with a jersey that said FairConn. Ryan played for Fairfield and obviously Tyler played for UConn. Ryan balled on Tyler but UConn got the w.

Saw Ryan around the CIAC 3 or 4 times scouting recruits this year for USJ. Smart kid and motivated to be a great coach from what I've heard.
