The ACC could probably offer a 1/4 revenue membership to both maybe move up to 1/2 in a couple of years and UConn and Rutgers would be happy to take it.

The ACC could get both for pretty cheap right now and lock up the NE market.

That raises a very interesting question. Would we take an invite on those conditions and forever be a second class citizen in the conference?

Considering the alternative though is Big East with Conf-USA and MAC teams....I just don't know.

unless there are additional defections, that would be idiotic. The Big East is going to see a healthy pay day in a year unless more schools spaz out.

You know, when they mention on NFL games that it is the "Air Force Network Game of the Week"...that doesn't actually mean Air Force brings revenue to a conference, right?

It would be a move, but I'd still take that offer. Nelson, you are either one hell of an optimist, or dellusional. BE will have no value by next year.
