I seriously sympathize with all of you who were champing at the bit for this kid. The hype!!! The aura!!! The talent!!!

There were 25 D1 College Football games scheduled for today. 12 of them were cancelled due to Covid. When it comes to college basketball, I think we will all have to remain flexible this season....

Paige fix? You may not have discovered that there is an abundance of Buckets' videos--including complete games played by her high school--available on YouTube. The wonder of these for me is that I can watch an entire Paige game and not realize how impressive her stat line is until the game ends and someone mentions it. She makes herself so integral to what's happening that it's difficult to separate her from her teammates or from the game itself. See if that doesn't happen at UConn, too.
