True. There was a lot of interest and diamond early on and that interest faded away as the recruiting process moved along. it simply never was meant to be.
all things being equal sometimes a good one slips away, hence the thread about which player we would have loved to have had on the roster. And since we are outsiders it's difficult for any of us to know for sure why the good ones slip away but they do and they go on to play for other teams. Such is the way of things.
