as a fashionista, I have observed a trend towards less baggy and shorter shorts in both the men and women- it was inevitable since fashion is cyclical. The Aussies are clearly ahead of the trend as evidenced by the 3 Aussie SMU players. I predict by Tournament time, when certain teams get new uniforms, the uniforms will reflect the more fitted and shorter trend in current fashion. Just a meaningless observation and prediction, but there it is

I thought the shorts looked awful. Just my opinion, and perhaps the coach doesn't care if some players "look" different on the court, but I appreciate teams like UCONN where everyone looks similar in their uniforms. Frankly, I thought the Aussie shorts were actually unflattering - it looked like they were wearing diapers...

It's summer time down in Australia, so maybe they hike'em this time of year? But yeah, looks a little odd unless you're stuck in a '70s time warp. Baggie it.
