There is no way I register for their site, could you please summarize?

That place has moved away from Hater Blog and gone straight to Palace. Are they more evolved or less evolved than us?

I'm back. It took me about thirty minutes to get through the whole thread but it was worth it. Can anyone summarize what they wrote?

As near as I can tell this woman is enrolling and will be entertaining at Friday's announcement in Houston. Otherwise its a snoozer.

It took me two minutes to realize that this girl wasn't really wearing underwear....and then it took me another ten minutes! ;)

Greatest gif ever:

Okay pretty much any of the girls topped it, but it still cracks me up.

Ignoring the fact that grown-men will wade through a 40-page message board thread hoping to see half a boob, if Houston gets invited to any conference - any conference - I expect that all of you nitwits will join me in raiding and burning down the city of Houston.

We've endured a lot, but that would be the call to violence.

That thread restores my faith in the Internet. There is an awful lot to like about it, to wit:

1) The regular poster who thinks he has a scoop and decides to post it but starts backtracking almost immediately, realizing he wasn't cut out to be a Message Board Insider. The backtracking then turns to panic as he realizes he is about to be run off the board.

2) 40% of the posters who want to believe the rumor and are getting excited.

3) 40% of the posters who realize the OP is full of s*** and are forming a lynch mob.

4) 20% of the posters that are mocking the other two groups and the OP with pictures of scantily clad women and gifs of cats walking on two legs.

I can not remember the last thread that made me laugh out loud at so many posts. My only concern is the build up is so awesome that the ending can not help but be anti-climatic.

Like the cut of Houston's jib already.

1) What's the handle of the that aggravated Yoda to the point where he left his board? Specialisthusky or something like that? I'm pondering banning his ass until yoda posts here again - sounds like a just punishment to me.

2) The horror of the Big East is settling in on Houston fans.

3) I don't think the SEC or Pac 12 give a flying duck* about Houston.

You are correct about the horror of the Big East settling in on Houston fans. They'd rather be in the MWC. But as far as the SEC goes, they've mentioned Houston as a possible candidate for expansion a long while back.

As for who aggravated Yoda...no comment from me. lol

Houston is a nice market but why overpay for a team unlikely to add to Tier 1 and in most years unlikely to grab the secondary game on ESPN. Nice regional add that contributed what to the BE contract? 30 mil?

Sent from my Lumia 920 via Windows 8. Now bite me Apple Droids.

Houston is at least the fifth most popular team in Houston. It's hard to believe that the SEC has waited this long. I mean sure, the Big 12 took TCU without a discussion over this sleeping giant but they probably would have turned down that invite.

Houston is not going anywhere. There are plenty of Texas based teams with huge fanbases that you don't have to worry about support if a conference added them. Why take Houston when you can wait a bit and potentially grab Texas, Texas Tech, or TCU. And you always have Oklahoma and Oklahoma State from the region that are readily available too.

The next ridiculous tweet will be about the B1G considering inviting NYU to penetrate NYC further.
