Pretty much, haven't received a vote all year and have been in the AP all season.

We were ranked 23 in the '12-'13 Coaches' poll after starting 4-0 and opening with a win over MSU in Germany. Received votes for the first 9 weeks.

I think I read somewhere that SMU wasnt eligible to be on the coaches poll ballots because of the post season ban. I thought it was strange since that wasnt the case with UConn in 2013.

Agree.....they are "hungry".....we all know about "this is what happens when you ban us"

I believe SMU will sputter a little against the teams they should beat easily but will be very aware when they play the likes of UConn, Cincy etc etc as you would expect join their situation.

Houston played very well last night. Much better than when we beat them. SMU looked a bit surprised. Houston was taking it to the paint. Seems every time I click on an SMU game, they are playing at home.

They are not eligible to be considered for the coaches poll

Also think there's something to be said that Houston is getting *a lot* better. Their early schedule was a lot of smoke and mirrors but they've played the best teams in our conference close.
