Relatively fast start for UH- they’re up 12-4 at the U12 timeout. Grimes has been slow to start the game, just 1-6 but his team leads by 8

Would say Houston's had a relatively easy bracket seed-wise (vs. a 15, 10, 11, and 12) but three of those are P5 schools.

Then again, Rutgers and Oregon St haven't been this far in the tourney since forever, so . . . forget it, I don't know what my point it.

28-17 Coogs at the U4. Beavers made a push but UH shooting pretty well from deep so far surprisingly

Houston’s defense is tough. They are giving up like 55 a game in the tourney and are very tough to play against. I’m definitely rooting for them vs say Michigan or UCLA.

Cuse only got 46 on them and Oregon St has 17 at the break. Excellent defense by UH.

Imagine a defense anchored by jarreau and poppers....♥️

.-.
4 point game 52-48, OSU has gone to a 1-3-1 zone and it’s totally baffled UH. 6:30 left

Was that not a travel on that Oregon State kid falling down and rolling over like Neymar a few times? They called a tie up but the kid was doing a cartwheel all the way to the hoop.

My God Oregon State has spit the bit in the last two minutes here.

Bad fouls, bad shots, fumbles the ball out of bounds. Jesus.

Tough way for an incredible run to end.

.-.
Congrats to Houston. They've waited a long time to get back to this stage.

Eh you can only play the schedule in front of you. It's not their fault their bracket exploded.

.-.
Sampson building up a HOF resume 2 final fours, has another 10 years or so in him probably.

Did Houston even play a single-digit seed?

Obviously they had a 15, and now an 11 and a 12. Who did they get in the 2nd round?

Edit: Rutgers, of course.

So no, Houston got to the Final Four without facing a single single-digit seed. Is this the first time?

LOL, As bad as we looked??

I get that conventional wisdom among the brain trust is now that UConn is the worst team in college basketball but you think it's crazy to suggest that UConn could have run a Cleveland State, Rutgers, Syracuse, Oregon State gauntlet? I mean, it is literally the easiest final four in the history of the tournament.

We would have made the Final Four against the teams Houston faced lol
Purely a comical statement -hope that lol meant you were joking - Both Rutgers and Oregon St would beat UConn - not sure about Cuse
UConn went as far as they would go - they really beat nobody but an early USC team that was in disarray
Houston is a bunch of tough nosed players who don't wilt under the bright lights - they are incredibly hungry and tough
Jarreau would be far and away the best player on UConn this season. Sasser would be right behind
Houston has one issue - playing with a big lead but Sampson is a great Xs and Os man and in the end that is huge

.-.
Houston is us except they make layups and big shots
I take it back - you weren't kidding
You are out of your mind

Grant Hill is convinced this game is between Arkansas and Oregon. He’s already said Oregon 3 times while referring to Baylor

Baylor is dominating Arkansas so far. Hogs in trouble

It makes me angry that Baylor is not up by more. The terrible officiating in the Arkansas/Colgate game still bugs me. I hope Baylor wins by 50.
