HOT- UConn deal @ Borders Books

I stopped by Borders- Going Out of Business today/ West Farms area.

Got: Connecticuts Basketball Vault (coffee table book) normally $50......Now $19

Got: UConn Quest (magazine w/Kemba net cutting cover) Great for reading/pics or framing.
normally $15........Now $6

Slightly ot: it sucks that all the borders are closing up.

it blows that none of the stores around me have the Connecticut Basketball Vault

Final closing day is rapidly approaching, but I was talking to a store manager and they're constantly consolidating - moving stock from stores they're shutting to ones still open. It's possible that an open store may still get limited new material. I bought a fixture @ WestFarms and it's supposedly going to be one of the very last of the chain to close because stock is moving well there.
