Hoping For Rescheduling News Today

Fake news? I'm not sure why you referenced ND/Duke, 2 teams that most people on here could care less about. Anyhow, back to the fake news you were referring to... please clarify.
See post before mine, then it will make sense!! Guess I'm messing people up, by not quoting that post.

Stop spreading the fake news. Many games even on your fan boy network have been in the day. Notre Dame at Duke is on the ACCN at 4:30 ET, today. Humm, lost channel and during the day.

FS1 has a busy Wednesday, with no fans guess it makes sense. Otherwise could have been on FS2 in primetime.

Well, Marquette/Villanova bumped PC/UConn out.
NASCAR always had that timeslot. Daytona Week is a strong ratings week for FS1.

Just gets tough in the COVID year in a re-scheduling games and with no fans, many games have been in the late afternoon. I understand it blows. That is 3pm for myself.

I know I understand - just sucks having a game at 4pm. I like to have something to look forward to after my day is over at night and get all my stuff done. Then chill

We record every men’s and women’s games and watch them at our convenience usually around 10 when everyone in the family is able to get together, something to look forward to after a long day. And you get to fast forward through the commercials and halftime.... games usually last about an hour. Works for us.

Looks like that's what I'll be doing tomorrow. Means no in-game BY chat though, which can be pretty amusing.

Price you pay to get on FS1. They had a replay of wrestlmania 7 scheduled for 8.

I would point out that if a BC game was rescheduled for 4:00 on a weekday, the majority of the board would be using it to make fun of them.

Just sayin.

They have Daytona 500 qualifying, and yeah, I imagine that is a bigger draw. I love the 4:00 game. Way better than 9:00.
LOL. Yeah. Nothing says big time like a 4 o’clock game to accommodate NASCAR qualifying heats. Remember when the Big East was a major draw? Now it’s relegated to a midweek afternoon game, not on a holiday, mind you, on a network who’s big draws features pro wrestling and NASCAR qualifying heats. Good thing Home Shopping Network didn’t bid or we’d be playing at 2AM because it was Tupperware Tuesday or some such. How the mighty have fallen.

Yeah, heaven forbid we are moved for what is the largest spectator sport in the country. This is the Daytona 500 qualifying, not some ordinary race. They call this Speedweek. NASCAR: 2021 Daytona 500, Daytona Speedweeks schedule, time, TV info (usatoday.com) This is what is on at 7

Duels at Daytona
Time: 7 p.m. ET
Channel: FS1
Notes: Split into two races, the Duels determine the Daytona 500 starting lineup for every team not on the front row. This year, there are more teams trying to qualify for the Daytona 500 than the 40 available spots. Thirty-six of those spots are guaranteed already, so the remaining four are up for grabs and not everyone will make the cut.

Duke had a 430p tip today
But I get your point.
The fact that they bother to televise BCU games is hilarious to begin with.

Could you find a better take than "ducking the game"? Be a little more understanding of how difficult this situation is and how lucky we are we can actually see any games. You and I are not at risk at all sitting at our TVs, but we are so willing to risk the lives of these kids for our entertainment!
I haven't been keeping track, how many player have died since the season started from the Covid Flu, which has been claimed to have originated in Communist China.

There are no fans, so they would have 8 AM tip offs if they thought it would get ratings.

Surprised to not hear anything. If the BE doesn’t reschedule a game this week I’d expect either us or Xavier to jump on this.

I would much rather reschedule the games against St. John’s, Villanova, and Xavier, but passing up a Q1 game would be tough.

I saw this as well and was wondering the same. I would love to see it.

Obviously not happening this season, but i always loved the late season non conference matchup the Calhoun teams had.

St.John’s and Xavier would both fit into the 2/18 open slot.
we have 3 multi day lay offs remaining where we could squeeze in our 3 missing games and none of these dates would result in a back to back for the other team. this is the only schedule that works for all 4 teams involved:

thursday 2/18- xavier (H)
thursday 2/25- sju (A)
monday 3/1- nova (H)

what's stopping (or what stopped) these from happening? we'd only have to take one short bus ride to queens.
2 more Ws from these 3 could make or break an at large bid. c'mon!

Complete bs.... St John's at least seemed pretty doable considering proximity.

Nova game Sat now even bigger considering not getting the home re-match & Providence tomorrow a MUST.

I’m not surprised, only 2 available dates: Feb 25 and March 1. My guess is the Big East didn’t want to push to add an extra game and instead focus on ensuring all teams can get into the conf tourney. I did wanna add a game against Nova to get the extra quad 1 game but I’m not surprised. Just gotta take care of business now.
