Great write-up! Lots of informative quotes, great questions posed, etc. Well done.
The thing I always tout Bria for is her "always forward" mentality. Forward, always forward. She's like a thoroughbred with blinders sometimes as far as pressure and emotions are concerned. She puts more constant pressure on opposing defenses than anyone else. And like Geno said, she really is her own 'type'. She is not really a Sue Bird type or a DT type or a Rizzotti type. She is a Bria type.
She is much crisper and more confident with her ball movement and her moves to the lane now, too. And defensively she is far better and more consistent this year. The one weakness is still the occasional lazy crosscourt pass or the inaccurate or poorly timed entry. But everything is on the upswing.
One strength of Geno's teams seems to be that as players get more time in the system, you really see them begin to develop a strong on-court identity. I see other teams where even the talented players look lost, not just from an X's and O's standpoint but because you get the sense they don't know how they fit in or what they should try or not try from moment to moment. Tough to put into words, but that's the best I can do right now
