Really want to go to tonights game but I dont have tickets. The only way is probably through a scalper, so what does everyone think is a fair price to pay? Thanks

highly doubt you'll get face unless the game has started, just depends on how bad YOU really want to go

$ 40 each is what the athletic department charged for 4 extra bleacher seats, so that would be the minimum to get in the door

I'd expect face from anyone who was a fan with an extra, as that's what I do when I have extras. Anyone else is scalping.

Doubt you'll be able to pay anything less than $100 if you want to get in before the game starts.. Like someone else said, if you try and get in after and the scalpers are just trying to unload, maybe you could do less.. Upper corners are going for over $100 on stubhub

Tickets are in very high demand for this game on the secondary market, and I doubt many fans will have extras lying around. If you want in, you're probably really going to have to pony up. They're not going for less than $105 on stubhub, and those are singles. I'm not sure how much the online exchanges differ from those selling outside the doors, but I'd imagine the prices are going to be lofty. Good luck.

I try not to base it off StubHub because the prices people are asking for UConn tickets on there are out of control. For example, I just looked at the SMU game in February at Gampel and somebody is asking $149 for section 221 row Y.

I dont mind paying a lot more than face value for tonight but I just think $200-$300 for tickets tonight is crazy.

I agree - the prices on stubhub are always insane, and then they'll tack on another fee for using the website. I'd never advise anybody to use that site but w/ scalpers you always run the risk of getting phonies.

The StubHub fees suck, but the one benefit of that site is that all transactions are guaranteed by StubHub--i.e., they are providing a service for the fee they are charging. What the sellers themselves charge is another story. I have sold tickets on StubHub many times after not getting bites on Craigslist. I only add on the StubHub fees, but most others are looking to scalp there. Craigslist is definitely dicier because there is no guarantee. I've also sold a few times there, and knock on wood have also purchased there a few times without issue.

Yup, that part is definitely true, which is why when given the choice I'll usually eat the fees rather than roll the dice with scalpers, especially if it's an expensive ticket. I still like to think of it as a last resort, though.

Money spent attending that game would have been better used to start a fire. So glad I didn't invest the time and effort for that fraud.
