Our football games are not an "event". There's no buzz around them.

It will take some W's to make the games special.

It isn't the conference. Fans are coming in decent numbers when there is hope. We've been sliding again for two weeks and haven't won at home in 6 weeks. If we win tonight and beat Tulane, we'll see a raucous crowd for Houston. It could be the official turning point for the program if we can beat Houston or at least take it down to the wire.

This is 2015. That chic is dressed like Harley Quinn.

Thanks for the culturally relevant correction! I was gonna say that since I have two friends dressed as her but I couldn't remember the damn name lol

Beat Tulane on the road and have a top-25 Houston at home with a chance to secure a bowl game and it's 35k+.

Compared to the last 3 years, the students have been outstanding all season but tonight they screwed the pooch. I'll give them a pass for this years turnaround. I hope they show up for our last home game to go bowl eligible !'

The fans were sparse tonight but for those of us who went it was fun,
Typical dread feelings on that initial pick six bit from there it only went up.
Chilly as snow.

There is a crew of us going for Houston so add plus 10 extra new tix to that games attendance.

Nice win tonight. I'm Glaxo went.

Tonight's game should help change the perception of our program. As long as we beat Tulane. And if we beat Houston, we're set to progress.

Awful crowd but thankfully the lackluster showing from our fanbase didn't affect our guys on the field. If we beat Tulane, then every single casual fan in this state that has ever once complained about the AAC better find his/her way to East Hartford for our Houston game. That goes for our students too. I'm happy that our PA dude didn't make any "best student section in the country" nonsense proclamation tonight. We had 31 students in the student section at the 10 minute mark of the 4th quarter. 31. Embarrassing.

Whatever. I know fans come in all sizes and some of us are more diehard than others. That's fine. Just wish there were more than a few thousand fans left in the stands at the end of the game to cheer on our guys for getting a HUGE W tonight.

If this was truly Fan Appreciation night, UConn should have given really great gifts to those of us who stayed until the end of the game.
Or, a bagload of goodies from the Co-Op as we entered the RENT. Whatever happened to the days of the sponsored thermal mug giveaways of the past? (I still have a couple of those).
