Never let the facts get in the way of a good thread as Mark Twain always said (I know @bags27 will give us the true quote and origination), but your comments are not correct: 2013 Tennessee was ranked #3 with 3 recruits 2014 ranked #6 with 3 recruits 2015 ranked #13 with 2 recruits 2016 whiff 2017 ranked #1 with 4 recruits 2018 ranked #5/6 with 4 recruits. Due to the miss in 2016, and the low number of recruits in 2015 (2) the numbers had to be upped the last to years (4 each) to fill out the roster. So ranking 3, 6, 13, -, 1, 5 seems to me to be pretty freakin good. I have put a snap shot of all the usual suspect. When a program didn't make Top 20, I used the number 20 to help get an average. There were some one hit wonders like UCLA, North Cheat, SC and Oregon. So as you can see, Tenn is fitting in well with the top programs. How to define success as Conference placement or NCAA results or developing All-Americans is subjective and is the indication of actual coaching. So for coaching criteria, my assessment from would be UConn, ND and Stanford shine. Louisville, Maryland and Baylor are next and Texas, Tenn and Duke fill in after that.
