Highlights vs. USF

Awesome effort by UConn, but man. USF are a complete and utter embarrassment.
USF made a huge comeback and then we hit them back. Completely took the wind out of their sails. At Cinci, when Cinci put up 25 on us, Uconn didn't quit. I think people don't give a lot of credit to KO and the players for that.

If only Jalen could have done something in that Cinci game and Kentan made the bunnies he missed that game could have been interesting.

And that's the problem when we're only running 6-7 guys. Can't really have someone come in and provide a spark when Jalen is off or needs a rest.
It's all 7 guys have to be on their best game and ready to go to even compete with the big boys. Really have to admire the progression of this team despite all of the garbage that happened to start the year. Esp guys like Facey and Vital.

Exactly. Wagner loss is the only thing that allows people to conveniently overlook the impact the injury bug has had on the team this year. Heck even the concussion to Jalen impacted the teams development. Same with the recent foot injuries to Juwan and Steve.

And I still think that people do not appreciate how much impact the two tragic losses Rodney suffered this past year impacted his play at the start of the season.

If we like Kentan's development can you imagine what the Juwan, who gave his verbal to UConn in 2015, would have been like if he didn't suffer that second ACL and have to sit for most of 2016?

If we like CV and his development, how much development would AG (a top 30 recruit) have had if he didn't suffer a season ending injury?
