I was poking around on their site to see if Crystal's Blackman High team was playing there.
They are not listed. However...in the Joe Smith division [which seems to be the toughest one with Katie's
Mater Dei team and a few others that traditionally are bigtime in that section]...I was shocked to see Springfield Central [Ma.] playing. Triple Yikes! Central is typically the best in the city and on occasion they have made some noise in the state D1 tourney...won it at least once. I don't think I have ever seen them ranked nationally though.
Good for them....they have a chance to up their profile against nationally elite teams.
Good luck to them. I didn't see any Ct. teams [no surprise there]...maybe none from New England.
