Every school that is serious about football will be doing that now that it's permissible. Would be great to have HfD working in that group at UConn ... maybe!

Okay Cowboy... @kbohls: Mack Brown says Texas today posted opening for director of player personnel to oversee recruiting.

i will be looking at that. whens uconn gonna post a job like that lol

Does every D1 program have such a position on staff or is it only the BIG D1 programs the perennial top 25 schools that do?

Does Uconn have such a person on staff?
 
It only became legal for non-coaches to recruit a few days ago, so all of these positions are new. I would hope UConn is creating one.

I assume the difference is that he was a coach whereas now you can have someone not be a coach and be a full time recruiting coordinator

Might as well. It wouldn't hurt. Bring plenty of print outs of the Boneyard with you for your interview! haha.
