23 with 1:41 left... Napier just pulled.

Someone has to explain this to me.

I have no problem with Napier staying in there - pad the stats baby!! What I have a problem with is Calhoun +/- tonight. This game was another step backwards for him

Guess we need something to complain about.

We played well and beat a crap team.

Our best player has been dealing with s knee injury - I think it's a valid concern.

I went over to SI to check the boxscore and see if they had minutes played (ESPN didn't).

Didn't realize till now that SI doesn't even have the AAC on its pull down menu. Talk about indignities.

KO actually goes to the walk ons much more quickly than JC. I don't think we'd have seen tolksdorf til the last possession and I doubt tor and lenehan would have gotten in under the old regime.

JC did the same thing and Tom Moore basically admitted that they liked to pad their starters stats. As long as there are no injuries then it's really not a big deal. Although, I'll never forget Khalid spraining his ankle with a minute to go in an NCAA tourney game where we were up 12-15.

Actually, it was 4 minutes left and we were leading by 11. No one takes their point guard and best player out in that situation. No one. Do you not remember watching that game? At no point did I feel comfortable at all.

Then I stand corrected. I remember it being much later and the game being comfortably in hand.

NCAA Tournament games are almost never comfortable. Georgia Tech went on a three bonanza and turned a 25-point lead into a 7 or 8 point game in the final minute. Damn clock wouldn't run out.

Seemed like Baxzz was resting quite a bit today. Probably could have had 40 easily if he was on the court!

We're 3-3 in an ok conference. Let him coach. If you noticed he even called a TO with 2 mins and change, not to take guys out, but to run one last set. JC rarely let bench guys get time in any game let alone a conference game.

If Shabazz hit a three at the end, him and DD would be the first Uconn duo to both get 30 in a game
