Hey everybody....there's a game tonight

I know we're really busy with resting the starters, and Williams black tape and all, but there is a game tonight. I read on some blog somewhere that Memphis not only isn't very big....start 2 players at 6-1. Yea, that's their height right there. AND, they are not very good 3 pt shooters. Sounds like it could be a long night for them.

Maybe the team can get down to Beale Street and do some walking in Memphis

I'll never forget last year's game @ Memphis. The beginning of that game did not at all please Geno, as Stewie and Morgan were benched after just five minutes, and they never made it back on the court. It was a Geno Auriemma motivational masterpiece (which coach denied), just two days before the #2 Huskies played #1 (haha) South Carolina.

Boy, did that ever work out well- Stewie was awesome with 22 pts, 8 rebounds, and 5 blocks while ever-steady Morgan chipped in with 17 points, 6 rebounds and 3 assists.

The message Geno sent that game, that he would no longer tolerate what he considered to be lethargic, unenthusiastic, un-UConn-like starts, from anyone, was heard loud and clear. And I think benching his two stars that game contributed significantly to NC #10. Message sent, message received.

As always, Saniya's availability will depend on the status of her leg issues. It may be that
even the coaching staff will not know if she can play until just before the game.
